Union/Snyder Transportation Alliance (USTA)

USTA (Union-Snyder Transportation Alliance) provides shared ride service to seniors who are not able to drive themselves to the Center or to Doctor appointments.

USTA was created in 1979 to provide transportation for local human service agencies in Union and Snyder Counties. As a public, non-profit transportation alliance USTA on average operates 20 vehicles covering approximately 650 square miles. USTA serves the needs of those within Union and Snyder Counties, and in some cases will travel to bordering counties.

Transportation is provided to those whom are:

disabled under 65 (discounted rate)

senior citizens over 65 (discounted rate)

ACCESS card holders (free for trips to Medical Assistance providers)

the general public (for a fee)

USTA vans are handicapped accessible and trips must be booked by 10:00 a.m. the day prior to requested service.
