Advocacy, Information, and Assistance

AA Programs and Services

Apprise: We assist people with understanding and obtaining Medicare supplemental insurance, Medicare and Medicaid, rent and property tax rebates, Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP), and other benefits.

Information and Referral : We provide information to the public on services and issues of interest to older adults and their families.

Protective: We investigate and address situations where older adults are abused, neglected, abandoned, or exploited. Protective Services information.

Ombudsman: We investigate and help resolve complaints made by or for older people living in nursing homes or personal care facilities. You can be an Ombudsman Volunteer and make a difference for a person in a nursing home or personal care home.
